Ken Raffensberger(3-2), with relief help from Frank Smith, shut-down
Pittsburgh while the Cincinnati Reds scored 5 runs in an evening game at
Forbes Field.

Raffensberger gave Cincinnati a solid outing.  He surrendered 6 hits and 1
walk in 7 innings reducing his ERA from 1.82 to 1.54.  Both teams totaled 6
hits on the night.  

Smith earned the save, his 1st.  Allie Reynolds(3-2) was given the loss.
Despite taking the loss, he whiffed 11 batters in 8 innings.
