The Chicago-NL Cubs had very little trouble at Municipal Stadium downing the
Cleveland Indians.  The score was 9 to 2.

Chicago-NL drew first blood jumping out to an early lead in the first inning
as they scored 4 runs on 3 base hits.  That scoring would be all that was
needed.  For the game Chicago-NL out-hit Cleveland 12 to 7.  

Robin Roberts(5-2) got credit for the victory, pitching 6 innings and allowing
1 run. Karl Spooner recorded his 1st save.  Frank Sullivan(2-2) took the
loss.  He got hammered, allowing 8 hits and 5 walks in 5 innings.
