Harry Staley pitched a complete game and Bill Kuehne left the yard and had 3
RBI as the Pittsburgh Alleghenys bested the Philadelphia Quakers 7 to 3 at
Baseball Grounds.

Staley(5-7) gave a fine effort for Pittsburgh.  He went 9 innings and
surrended up 6 hits and 2 walks improving his ERA from 3.75 to 3.51.
Pittsburgh totaled 12 hits on the afternoon.  

Dan Casey(4-3) was hit with the loss.  He got hammered, allowing 12 hits and 2
walks in 9 innings.
