Jack Stivetts went the distance as the Boston Beaneaters beat the Louisville
Colonels by a score of 3 to 1.

Stivetts(7-2) gave a fine effort for Boston. He was reached for 7 hits and 3
walks in 9 innings.  Louisville could do no damage in the 9th.  

Alex Jones(5-8) was hit with the loss.  Wth the win Boston now has a record of
