Del Howard had 2 base hits and 2 RBI and Ed Reulbach allowed Tim Singer to
rest his bullpen, tossing a complete game as the St. Louis-AL Browns topped
the Cincinnati Reds by a score of 5 to 1 at Sportsman'S Park.

St. Louis-AL promptly took the lead in their half of the first when they
scored 2 runs on 3 hits.  The early run support proved sufficient for
Reulbach(5-1) and St. Louis-AL.  That was all the run support Reulbach
required.  St. Louis-AL had 10 hits for the afternoon.  

Buster Brown(2-4) was the loser.  He allowed 8 hits and no walks in 6 innings.
