First baseman George Stovall had 2 base hits and 2 RBI as the Cleveland Naps
outscored the Washington Nationals 9 to 3.

In the 3rd inning Cleveland went on top for good when they scored 2 runs on 3
hits.  The crucial at-bat was provided by Stovall who helped quiet the crowd
when he stroked a single which was good for two runs.  Bill Lattimore(2-3)
got help from Otto Hess who pitched great and earned his 1st save.  

Cy Falkenberg(0-3) was given the loss.  The Cleveland ballclub's record now
stands at 17-16.  With the loss, the Washington ballclub's record is 21-12.
