Red Sox in 11 innings 11 to 7 at Forbes Field.
The game was deadlocked at 7 after nine full innings. Pittsburgh came out the
victor in the 11th inning. The biggest moment was provided by Eddie Kazak
who made the crowd happy when he launched a rocket-shot out of the park for a
Grand Slam homerun. Pittsburgh had 14 hits for the afternoon.
Joe Page(1-1) allowed 2 runs in 3 innings, and picked up the victory. Nels
Potter(2-2) was tagged with the loss in relief. He allowed 2 hits and 3
