Washington Nationals defeated the Brooklyn Dodgers 6 to 2 at Griffith
Stadium.

Porterfield(6-2) delivered a fine performance for Washington.  He went 9
innings allowing 7 hits and 4 walks.  Washington had a total of 13 hits for
the game.  

Allie Reynolds(1-4) ended up with the loss in relief.  He surrended 3 homeruns
