Left fielder Ed Delahanty had 4 hits and 6 RBI and Al Orth pitched 9 strong
innings as the Washington Senators really laid it on the Cleveland Bronchos
15 to 3.

Delahanty had a great day at the plate. He had the crowd cheering his every
move. He tripled which was good for two runs in the 1st inning, cracked a
two-run shot in the 3rd inning, lined a base-hit bringing in a run in the 5th
inning and smacked a single scoring a run in the 6th inning. Washington bats
were very productive in the 5th inning which saw them plate 4 runs on 5 hits
and the 6th inning when they had 6 runs on 4 hits. Washington finished with
15 hits in the victory.

Orth(6-2) lasted until the end allowing 3 runs for the win. Oscar Streit(2-3)
absorbed the loss. He got hit hard, allowing 15 hits and 7 walks in 7
innings.

'I was really seeing the ball today,' Delahanty said 'I wish it was always
this easy.'
