Eddie Cicotte pitched a complete game at Bennett Park as the Washington
Nationals beat the Detroit Tigers 10 to 2.

Bris Lord had a big day at the plate.  He doubled which was good for two runs
in the 1st inning, doubled bringing home two baserunners in the 7th inning
and doubled in the 9th inning.  Washington rapped out 11 hits for the
afternoon.  

The winning pitcher was Cicotte(2-5) who allowed 2 runs for the game. Bob
Groom(1-8) was tagged with the loss.  He was knocked around pretty good,
giving up 8 runs in 7 innings.
