Al Maul(2-1) pitched a solid game.  He surrendered 11 hits and 4 walks in 8
and 2/3 innings.  Washington totaled 9 hits on the afternoon.  

Mike Sullivan was credited with his 3rd save.  Matt Kilroy(0-5) was given the
loss.  'I just wanted to give my team a chance to win.' said Maul, 'I got
burned on a couple of pitches. But we won the game, and that's all that
matters.'
