Earl Moore pitched a complete game as the New York Highlanders defeated the
Washington Nationals by a score of 7 to 3 at American League Park.

New York took the lead for keeps in the 3rd inning scoring 2 runs.  Red
Kleinow led off and he reached on an error.  Two outs later Kid Elberfeld
came up and he drew a walk.  Hal Chase then doubled driving in two more
baserunners.  New York totaled 7 hits on the afternoon.  

The victory was credited to Moore(2-5) who went the distance, allowing 3 runs.
Cy Falkenberg(1-4) was charged with the loss.  He saw his ERA jump from 2.31
to 2.86 as gave up 7 runs in 9 innings.
