Art Fromme tossed a complete game shutout as the Cincinnati Reds bested the
St. Louis Cardinals 8 to 0 at League Park.

Fromme(5-2) was very good in the win.  He didn't allow much, just 4 hits and 5
walks in 9 innings dropping his ERA from 2.89 to 2.43.  Cincinnati had a
total of 15 hits for the game.  

Bill Steele(4-4) took the loss.  He was unable to control the Cincinnati
offense and allowed 15 hits and 8 walks in 9 innings.
