Sherry Magee had 2 base hits and 3 RBI and Ed Reulbach delivered 8 solid
innings at Sportsman'S Park as the St. Louis-AL Browns beat the Detroit
Tigers by the count of 11 to 4.

St. Louis-AL promptly took the lead in their half of the first plating one
baserunner.  Dode Paskert stroked a single.  Clyde Milan stepped into the
batter's box and he drew a walk.  After an out was recorded, Stuffy McInnis
then drew a walk to load the bases.  Bill Sweeney followed and he drew a walk
scoring the run.  Overall St. Louis-AL out-hit Detroit 13 to 8.

Reulbach(2-0) went 8 innings allowing 2 runs for the win. Bob Harmon(1-1) was
given the loss.  He allowed 11 hits and 5 walks in 6 innings.
