Fred Luderus blasted a homerun and had 2 RBI as the Philadelphia Phillies
topped the New York Giants by a score of 10 to 2 at Polo Grounds.

In the top of the 3rd inning Philadelphia went on top for good when they came
up with 4 runs on 4 hits.  That early run support was enough for George
Chalmers(2-3) and Philadelphia.  Philadelphia out-hit New York for the game,
13 hits to 5.  

Jeff Tesreau(5-4) took the loss.  He allowed Philadelphia 10 runs in 9 innings
