Curt Simmons(6-2) allowed 1 run in 5 and 1/3 innings, and picked up the
victory. Jim Konstanty preserved the game for Simmons, recording his his 4th
save.  Spec Shea(4-4) was the losing pitcher.  He surrendered 6 runs in 5
innings and saw his ERA increase from 2.51 to 3.08.
