Jack Burdock collected 2 extra-base hits and had 3 RBI and Charlie Parsons
completed the game without help from the bullpen as the Boston Beaneaters
man-handled the St. Louis Maroons - the final score was 15 to 4.

Burdock helped send the fans home happy.  He tripled plating a run in the 4th
inning, laced a single which scored a run in the 5th inning and doubled in
the 8th inning.  Boston lit up the scoreboard in the 5th inning which saw
them plate 5 runs on 6 hits and the 6th inning which saw them score 4 runs on
3 hits.  Boston had 19 hits for the afternoon.  

The victory went to Parsons(2-0) who went the distance allowing 4 runs.
Charlie Sweeney(4-4) was the losing pitcher.  He allowed 19 hits and 4 walks
in 8 innings.
