Tony Mullane completed the game without help from the bullpen and right
fielder Jim Canavan had 3 base hits as the Cincinnati Reds topped the
Washington Senators by a score of 4 to 3 at Boundary Field.

Mullane(3-6) pitched well for Cincinnati in their victory.  He surrendered 8
