In a one-sided affair the Brooklyn Dodgers batters pounded the struggling
Chicago-NL Cubs pitchers for 12 runs while Harry McIntire(3-1)with support
from the bullpen surrendered 3 runs to Chicago-NL.

McIntire contributed a pedestrian performance to earn the win.  He went 5
innings and surrended up 6 hits and no walks.  Brooklyn had 15 hits for the
afternoon.  

George Suggs preserved the game for McIntire, recording his his 2nd save.
Jimmy Dygert(2-5) suffered the loss.  He was hit hard and gave up 8 hits and
4 walks in 5 innings.  

In another of a string of victories, Brooklyn extended their winning streak to
6 games.
