Bill Everitt had 2 base hits and 3 RBI and Dale Gear tossed a complete game as
the Washington Senators defeated the Milwaukee Brewers 9 to 5 at Lloyd Street
Grounds.

Washington started with a bang, jumping out to an early lead in their half of
the first scoring 4 runners on 3 hits.  Both teams ended up with 12 hits on
the afternoon.  

The victory was credited to Gear(3-1) who went the distance, allowing 5 runs.
Ned Garvin(2-3) was given the loss.  He allowed 12 hits and 10 walks in 9
innings.
