Harry Wolter smacked 2 triples and had 2 RBI at Polo Grounds where the New
York-NL Giants beat the Chicago-NL Cubs 10 to 9.

New York-NL took the lead off Cy Morgan in the first inning when they scored 6
runs on 3 hits. The big moment was provided by Bill Rariden who electrified
Polo Grounds when he delivered a one-base hit bringing in two baserunners.
Chicago-NL threatened in the 9th but their rally came up short.

Jack Quinn(7-1) was the winner allowing 9 runs in 5 innings. Jack Ferry
preserved the game for Quinn, recording his his 7th save. The losing pitcher
was Morgan(5-6). He allowed a few too many baserunners giving up 11 hits and
4 walks in 5 innings.

Brian Capsello was beaming after the game, 'Not only were we making good
contact, but a lot of balls we hit seemed to have 'eyes'! I just love winning
these tight ones! It was just our day - no doubt about it!'
