Cardinals beat the Washington Nationals 7 to 3.

St. Louis scored 3 runs in the decisive top of the 7th inning with the help of
4 hits.  It was enough to earn the victory.  St. Louis had 14 hits overall,
while Washington had 7.  

Vic Raschi(5-7) got credit for the victory, pitching 7 innings and allowing 2
