Joe Quinn slammed 2 homeruns and had 3 RBI and Kid Nichols had a complete game
as the Boston Beaneaters outscored the St. Louis Browns 10 to 6.

Quinn made sure the Boston fans enjoyed themselves.  He delivered a solo blast
in the 6th inning and blasted a two-run home run in the 7th inning.  Boston
had a total of 12 hits for the game.  

Nichols(5-6) was the winner allowing 6 runs for the game. Ted
Breitenstein(3-7) was the loser.  He got hit pretty hard, allowing 12 hits
and 2 walks in 8 innings.
