Red Donahue tossed a complete game at Eastern Park as the St. Louis Browns
beat the Brooklyn Bridegrooms 4 to 2.

St. Louis jumped on top to stay in the 4th inning scoring 2 runs using 2 hits.
Joe Quinn led off and started the rally when he drew a walk.  After an out
was recorded, Tom Parrott came to bat and stroked a base-hit.  One out later,
Brickyard Kennedy then let one get away for a wild pitch scoring a run.
Monte Cross was up next and he slapped a single scoring the final run of the
inning.  St. Louis finished with 7 hits in the victory.  

Donahue(3-3) picked up the complete game victory, allowing 2 runs.
Kennedy(7-4) was the loser.  With this win, St. Louis has a 13-24 record.
They have been 4-6 lately.  With the loss, Brooklyn has a record of 4-6
