Walter Johnson(6-8) was the losing pitcher. When questioned about his counterpart after the game, Johnson was lavish in his praise, 'It was obvious very early on that we were going to be in for a long night. Pfiester brought his 'A' game with him - he had good stuff and was able to spot it perfectly. He probably only made one or two bad pitches the entire game!
