Wiley Taylor went the distance and Del Pratt hit 2 doubles as the St. Louis
Browns defeated the Cleveland Naps in 10 innings by the score of 6 to 1 at
League Park.

The game was deadlocked at 1 after nine full innings.  St. Louis won it in the
10th inning.  The key offensive moment was provided by Ivan Howard who
silenced the stadium when he slapped a base-hit plating two runs.  St. Louis
rapped out 8 hits for the afternoon.  

The victory went to Taylor(2-1) who went the distance allowing 1 run. Rip
Hagerman(4-7) ended up with the loss.  He surrendered 6 runs and 8 hits in 9
and 1/3 innings.
