Jim Toy collected 2 extra-base hits and Mike Morrison completed the game
without help from the bullpen as the Cleveland Blues beat the New York
Metropolitans by a score of 8 to 4.

New York fell behind quickly as the Cleveland offense came through in the
first inning when they scored 2 runs on 2 hits.  Cleveland banged out 14 hits
on the afternoon.  

Morrison(5-6) finished the game allowing 4 runs in the victory. Jack
Lynch(1-3) was the losing pitcher.  Cleveland now has a record of 12-20.  Not
able to get much going in recent weeks, New York is 1-9 of late and now has
an overall record of 8-23, worst in the league.
