Ed Reulbach shutout Pittsburgh while allowing the Chicago bullpen a day-off at
Exposition Park where the Chicago Cubs beat the Pittsburgh Pirates 2 to

Reulbach(3-1) was very good in the win.  He didn't allow much, just 4 hits and
4 walks in 9 innings dropping his ERA from 1.26 to 0.96.  Both teams' bats
went to sleep after the 3rd inning with no runs scored after that point.

The loss was charged to Chick Robitaille(4-4).  He pitched 9 innings giving up
7 hits and 3 walks.
