Hooks Wiltse didn't allow a hit until the 7th inning at South End Grounds as
the New York Giants beat the Boston Beaneaters 6 to 2.

Wiltse(4-4) had a strong outing.  He allowed only 5 hits and no walks in 9
innings.  The left-handed Wiltse had his no-hit bid broken up by Fred Tenney
who singled with nobody out in the 7th inning.  New York had a total of 8
hits for the game.  

Vic Willis(2-7) absorbed the loss.  'Wiltse just dominated us' losing pitcher
Willis said.  'Hopefully we can get to him the next time around'
