Jake Stahl had 4 hits and 4 RBI at Forbes Field where the Cincinnati Reds beat
the Pittsburgh Pirates by the score of 10 to 5.

In the top of the 5th inning Cincinnati scored 4 runs when they had 3 base
hits.  The big moment was provided by Stahl who silenced the crowd when he
laced a single bringing home two baserunners.  Cincinnati had 15 hits
overall, while Pittsburgh had 12.  

The winning pitcher was Hugh Bedient(5-5) who allowed 5 runs in 6 innings.
Slim Sallee earned the save, his 2nd.  Lefty Tyler(2-9) was the loser.  He
was hit hard and gave up 15 hits and 9 walks in 9 innings.
