Frank Chance had 3 base hits and 3 RBI at West Side Park where the Chicago
Cubs beat the Pittsburgh Pirates in 20 innings 7 to 6.

Both teams were tied at 4 runs apiece after nine innings.  Finally, Chicago
prevailed in the 20th inning.  Billy Maloney reached on an error.  Chance
followed and he delivered a one-base hit.  Chance stole second with some
aggressive base running.  Two outs later Doc Casey came to bat and smacked a
single making Chicago victorious to the delight of the the home town crowd.
Chicago had 18 hits for the game and Pittsburgh had 15.  

Ed Reulbach(4-1) got credit for the victory, pitching 1 inning and allowing no
runs. Mike Lynch(2-3) was the loser in relief.  It was a tough loss for him
as he did not allow an earned run in his 2 and 2/3 innings of work.
