Ernie Shore held Chicago to 2 hits at Fenway Park as the Boston Red Sox beat
the Chicago White Sox 3 to 1.

Boston started with a bang, jumping out to an early lead in their half of the
first scoring 2 runners on 2 hits.  That early scoring was all that
Shore(6-1) needed.  Boston had only 5 hits for the game.  

Jim Scott(2-5) took the loss.  He was pinned with the loss despite not
allowing an earned run in his 7 innings of work.
