struggling Louisville Colonels, 6 to 5.

Baker stepped up to the plate and he laced a base-hit. Billy Shindle then
slapped a single to load the bases. Joe Kelley was up next and he stroked a
one-base hit which scored a run. Tim O'Rourke came to the plate and grounded
into a double play. Piggy Ward kept the inning going and smacked a single
giving Baltimore the victory and sending the 3,633 home-town fans home happy.
Baltimore had 13 hits for the afternoon.

McMahon(9-3), allowing 5 runs for the game, picked up the victory. Scott
Stratton(3-3) was tagged with the loss. He got hit hard, allowing 13 hits

'Wow, that was fun!', McMahon said following the game. 'Once in a while you
play a game that reminds you just why you got into this business to begin
with!'
