George Mullin pitched a complete game as the Cincinnati Reds beat the Brooklyn
Dodgers by a score of 12 to 4.

In the 5th inning Cincinnati scored 5 runs when they came up with 6 base hits.
The biggest moment was provided by Fred Luderus who silenced the stadium
when he laced a single bringing in two baserunners.  Cincinnati totaled 16
hits on the afternoon.
