The Cleveland Indians had an easy time of it at Forbes Field defeating the
Pittsburgh Pirates by a score of 8 to 2.

The game started off with Cleveland taking the lead in the first when they
tallied 4 runs on 5 hits.  That early scoring was all that Mike Garcia(11-3)
needed.  Cleveland had 16 hits overall, while Pittsburgh had 7.  

The losing pitcher was Allie Reynolds(3-9).  He gave up 7 runs in 2 and 2/3
innings of work.
