bullpen, tossing a complete game at Ball Club Grounds where the Cleveland
Blues beat the Troy Trojans 5 to 3.

McCormick(3-11) pitched a solid game. He allowed 9 hits and 4 walks in 9
innings.  Cleveland had 13 hits for the afternoon.  Mickey Welch(0-5)
absorbed the loss.  

'I just wanted to give my team a chance to win.' said McCormick, 'I got burned
on a couple of pitches. But we won the game, and that's all that matters.'
