Second baseman Dan Shannon had 4 hits and 3 RBI and Red Ehret tossed a
complete game as the Louisville Colonels outscored the Philadelphia Athletics
13 to 6.

Shannon had a big day with his bat.  He doubled in the 1st inning, slapped a
one-base hit plating a run in the 4th inning, doubled knocking in a run in
the 5th inning and tripled which scored a run in the 9th inning.
Offensively, Louisville was a juggernaut.  They scored in 6 separate innings.
