George Haddock pitched a complete game at Baseball Grounds where the
Washington Nationals beat the Philadelphia Quakers 6 to 4.

In the 7th inning Washington scored 3 runs when they had 3 base hits.  After
an out was recorded, Walt Wilmot began the Washington spurt when he doubled.
Dummy Hoy followed and he reached on an error.  Al Myers then slapped a
base-hit plating a run.  John Morrill was the next batter, but he struck out.
Charlie Buffinton then uncorked a pitch that was ruled a passed ball plating
another run.  Pete Sweeney extended the rally and tripled scoring the final
run of the inning.  Washington took care of Philadelphia with no trouble in
the bottom of the 9th.  

Haddock(5-0) picked up the complete game victory, allowing 4 runs.
Buffinton(7-6) was given the loss.  He pitched 9 innings and surrendered 10
hits and 2 walks.
