Red Donahue allowed Billy Nash to rest his bullpen, tossing a complete game
and Nap Lajoie slammed a homerun and had 3 RBI at Baker Bowl as the
Philadelphia Phillies beat the Pittsburg Pirates by the count of 6 to 4.

The home town fans were very appreciative of the fine hitting performance
provided by Lajoie.  He stroked a base-hit scoring a run in the 1st inning,
bombed a two-run dinger in the 3rd inning and tripled in the 5th inning.
Philadelphia had a total of 10 hits for the game.  

The win went to Donahue(5-2) who allowed 4 runs in the game. Frank Killen(3-7)
ended up with the loss.  He pitched 8 innings and surrendered 10 hits and 1
walk.
