Third baseman Lee Tannehill had 2 base hits and 3 RBI at Baker Bowl where the
Cincinnati Reds beat the Philadelphia-NL Phillies by the score of 14 to
6.

Cincinnati promptly took the lead in their half of the first as they showed no
mercy on Philadelphia-NL blasting them for 5 hits and plating 7 runs.  The
early run support proved sufficient for Noodles Hahn(7-1) and Cincinnati.
That was all the run support Hahn required.  Philadelphia-NL was out-hit by
Cincinnati, 16 hits to 12.  

Bob Rhoads(2-3) was tagged with the loss.  He surrendered 7 runs and 5 hits in
2/3 of an inning.
