Center fielder John Dobbs had 4 hits and 3 RBI at Robison Field where the
Brooklyn Superbas beat the St. Louis Cardinals by the score of 7 to 1.

Ned Garvin(3-5) delivered a fine performance for Brooklyn.  He went 8 and 1/3
innings surrendering 8 hits and 3 walks.  Brooklyn out-hit St. Louis for the
game, 11 hits to 8.  

Clarence Currie(3-5) was given the loss.  He allowed 7 runs and 11 hits in 9
innings.  With this win, Brooklyn has a 25-19 record.  They have been 6-4
lately.  Patsy Donovan was unhappy with his club's recent performance.  'We
can't keep losing games' he said.  'It gets to be embarrassing after a
while.'
