Red Faber went the distance as the Chicago White Sox bested the Boston Red Sox
in 11 innings 6 to 4 at Fenway Park.

The game was deadlocked at 4 after nine full innings. Chicago won the game in
the 11th inning. After an out was recorded, Happy Felsch began the Chicago
spurt when he was hit by a pitch. Ray Schalk stepped up next and he laced a
base-knock, and an error was also committed. Eddie Collins then doubled
plating two runs. Although they lost, Boston did out-hit Chicago 14 to 11.

Faber(4-5) picked up the complete game victory, allowing 4 runs. Joe Wood(1-3)
was hit with the loss. 'It wasn't my best outing, but I'll take the win'
Faber said.
