Bill Dinneen hurled a 3 hitter as the Cincinnati Reds bested the reeling
Boston-AL Americans 3 to 1 at Palace Of The Fans.

In the 3rd inning Cincinnati scored 2 runs when they came up with 3 base hits.
That early scoring was all that Dinneen(6-9) needed.  After the 3rd inning,
neither team was able to score.  

Togie Pittinger(3-3) was the loser.  He gave up 5 hits and 1 walk in 7
