Guy Hecker pitched a complete game and left fielder Joe Strauss had 2 base
hits as the Louisville Colonels defeated the St. Louis Browns by a score of 5
to 2 at Sportsman's Park.

Hecker(5-4) put on a good performance.  He gave up just 6 hits and 4 walks in
9 innings dropping his ERA from 2.34 to 2.07.  Louisville had a total of 13
hits for the game.  

Jumbo McGinnis(3-8) suffered the loss.  He was knocked around by Louisville,
