in the 7th inning and stroked a single which brought home a run in the 8th
inning. Chicago had 16 hits for the afternoon.

Clarkson(10-3) allowed 8 runs on the game. Jim McCormick(4-6) took the loss.
He got hit pretty hard, allowing 16 hits and 2 walks in 8 innings.

'I was really seeing the ball today,' Pfeffer said 'I wish it was always this
easy.'
