Bert Myers smacked 2 triples as the Washington Senators defeated the Pittsburg
Pirates 6 to 4 at Boundary Field.

Washington scored the winning runs in the bottom of the 8th inning scoring 2
runs using 2 hits.  Deacon McGuire led off and started the attack as he
ripped a single.  After an out was recorded, Myers came to bat and tripled
plating a run.  Zeke Wrigley then hit a deep fly scoring the final run of the
inning.  Pittsburg was out-hit by Washington, 10 hits to 6.  

The winning pitcher was Roy Evans(1-2) who allowed 4 runs in 8 innings. Bill
Donovan preserved the game for Evans, recording his his 2nd save.  Frank
Killen(3-8) was tagged with the loss.  He pitched 8 innings and surrendered
10 hits and 1 walk.
