Casey Patten was able to finish what he started and was credited with a
complete game at American League Park as the Washington Senators beat the
Chicago White Sox 2 to 1.

Washington claimed the early lead in the first inning when they scored 2 runs
on 3 hits.  That scoring would be all that was needed.  After the 4th inning,
neither team was able to score.  

Patten(2-1) picked up the complete game victory, allowing 1 run. Jack
Katoll(3-6) was the losing pitcher.  He surrendered 9 hits and 3 walks in 8
innings.
