Oscar Jones pitched a complete game and catcher Lew Ritter had 4 hits and 2
RBI as the Brooklyn Superbas beat the Cincinnati Reds in 10 innings by a
score of 3 to 2.

The score was knotted at 2 after nine innings.  Brooklyn ended up winning it
in the 10th inning.  Judge McCredie reached on an error.  Jack Doyle was a
strikeout victim, unable to help out.  Bill Dahlen then drew a walk.  Ritter
stepped in and he delivered a single scoring the run.  Brooklyn rapped out 8
hits for the afternoon.  

The victory was credited to Jones(9-2) who went the distance, allowing 2 runs.
Bill Phillips(1-1) ended up with the loss.
