Gus Triandos cleared the bases with his grand slam and Tom Brewer completed
the game without help from the bullpen as the Kansas City Athletics outscored
the Cleveland Indians 14 to 5.

Triandos had a big day with his bat.  He lined a base-hit in the 2nd inning,
slapped a single bringing in two baserunners in the 5th inning and blasted a
Grand Slam homerun in the 8th inning.  Kansas City had a total of 15 hits for
the game.  

Brewer(2-3) finished the game allowing 5 runs in the victory. George
Susce(3-3) absorbed the loss.  'I was really seeing the ball tonight,'
Triandos said 'I wish it was always this easy.'
