Eddie Joost had 4 hits and 3 RBI at Forbes Field as the Cleveland Indians beat
the Pittsburgh Pirates 6 to 5.

Joost led the offense for Cleveland.  He delivered a one-base hit in the 2nd
inning, blasted a solo shot in the 5th inning, doubled scoring two
baserunners in the 6th inning and ripped a base-knock in the 8th inning.
Pittsburgh had a chance in the 9th but they came up short.  

Gerry Staley(6-4) went 6 innings allowing 4 runs for the win. Staley got
relief help from Dave Koslo who gained credit for his 4th save.  Joe
Dobson(2-6) ended up with the loss.  He allowed a few too many baserunners
giving up 9 hits and 3 walks in 6 innings.
